All India Pre- Veterinary test is for admission to 1st year of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) course. Online application for AIPVT will start from the first week of January 2017. A candidate seeking admission can apply on or before the first week of March 2017.
Duration of the Course: The duration of B.V.Sc & A.H degree course is 5 years. The course also includes a compulsory rotating internship of six months.
While filling up, the application form candidates need to keep their mobile phone with them as an OTP would be sent to that mobile number. Also, be ready with your parent's annual income as it would be asked while filling up the AIPVT application form.

Nationality: Indian (except the state of J&K as the state has not adopted the provisions of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.)
Age: Candidate must have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as on December 31, 2017. Candidates attaining 17 years on January 1, 2018, or later are not eligible to appear for the test. Upper Age Limit is 25 years as on December 1, 2017. Upper Age Limit shall be relaxed by a period of five years for the candidates of SC/ST/OBC.
Academic Qualifications: The candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to Class 12 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study.
Note: A Candidate who is taking the qualifying exam prior to the AIPVT or whose result is awaited may also apply & take the exam but they shall not be eligible for admission to the programme if they do not pass the qualifying exam with the required percentage of marks specified.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: Secured a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English at 10+2/Intermediate Science Examination. Candidates should also have passed these subjects individually.
Number of Attempts: The candidates can appear in AIPVT any number of times. There is no limit to appear in AIPVT Exam.
The candidates can apply for AIPVT 2017 ONLY online. There is NO offline Process of filling the AIPVT 2017 Application Form.
Online Mode: Candidates may apply through online mode by visiting the official website . The application fees can be paid via Debit Card/Credit Card or through downloaded E-Challan.

Candidates can pay the AIPVT Application Fee via two modes:
Duration of Exam: 3 hours
It will be an objective type examination consisting of 180 Multiple Choice Questions. The question paper would both be in English & Hindi Language. The candidates are allowed take the AIPVT 2017 Question Paper with them.
It will be a pen & paper based test and the candidate has to answer the questions on the OMR Sheet with a blue/black ball point pen. The candidate cannot change the answer once marked and the use of eraser or white/correction fluid is prohibited as the answer sheets are machine gradable.

For Candidates with Physical Disability:
A Candidate shall not be allowed admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course including those admitted under 15% reserved quota of Veterinary Council of India he/she suffer disability in physical fitness as listed below:
a) Disability of total body including disability of chest/spine more than 50%
b) Disability of lower limb of more than 50%
c) Disability of upper limb
d) Visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability
e) Candidates with progressive diseases like myopathies etc.
f) Disabilities which otherwise would interfere in the performance of duties of a veterinarian.
