UPESEAT 2018 - UPES Online Aptitude Test

UPESEAT 2018 is an online aptitude test conducted by UPES School of Engineering for admissions to the B.Tech course at the university. The applications to appear in the UPESEAT is invited and the candidates can fill the form on or before 2 May 2018. UPESEAT Computer-based Exam will be held on 12 May 2018 in various centres across India. Academic Qualification:

• The candidates who have passed Class 10 with 60% total aggregate marks are eligible to appear in the UPESEAT.

• The candidates passed Class 12 having Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) as main subjects are eligible to appear in the exam.

• The candidates appearing in the Class 12 examination are also eligible to appear in UPESEAT.

The application process for the UPESEAT has started and the candidates are required to fill the application form in order to appear in the UPESEAT Exam scheduled to be conducted in multiple rounds. The eligibility has been described above and the candidates who meet the eligibility requirements are suggested to follow the link given below. 

The application form can be filled through online mode and can be obtained offline also. Both the mode is described below.

UPESEAT 2018 Application Form

Online Mode

• Application Details: The candidates have to fill their application details in which they have to provide personal information of theirs. 
• Payment: After this, the candidates have to make the payment of the fee, only then the candidates will be redirected to further step.
• Academic Details: At last, the candidates would be required to fill the application form with the academic information and then submit the application form.

Offline Mode

Candidates can collect UPES Prospectus & Application form by sending a demand draft in favour of "UPES Fee Account", payable at New Delhi / Dehradun along with request letter or by Cash payment from admission counters at Chandigarh/ Delhi / Dehradun / Kolkata / Mumbai.

Submission of the Application Form

The candidates after filling up the UPESEAT Application Form should note down the application number for further reference. The candidates after completely filling up the form should verify the details filled by them in the form. They are also suggested to take at least two printouts of the application form for future reference.

UPESEAT 2018 Admit Card

UPESEAT 2018 Admit Card will be available from 8 May 2018. As the examination is scheduled to be conducted on 12 May 2018, the candidates can download their admit card to appear for the same. The candidates can appear in the exam from any location of their choice.

Application Fee: The application fee for the UPESEAT 2018 is Rs.1850 which can be paid through Online Mode/ By cash or by Demand Draft.

The result for the UPESEAT exam scheduled to be conducted on 12 May 2018 will be declared after the exam. Hence, the candidates will be able to check the result on the provided date.

For the candidates seeking admission through Examination Pathway
The UPESEAT Result is declared for the test which has already been conducted. Hence, the candidates who appeared in the exam can now check the result by following the link given on this page below. The result is available for the exam conducted from 26 November to 17 December 2017. To check the result, the candidates have to enter the Application Number and Email Id.

For the candidates seeking admission through Non-Examination Pathway
The counselling will be held for the candidates who are seeking admission through the non-examination pathway. The UPESEAT 2018 Counselling Process shall be a centralized process with 80% of the seats reserved for UPESOEAT 2018 qualifying candidates and the remaining 20% through Board Merit or JEE Main 2018 scores.

Candidates will have to attend UPEOEAT 2018 Counselling Process in person with original certificates for document verification.

Total Number of Question: 200

UPESEAT 2018 Question paper will consist of 200 questions which are divided into following sections:

UPESEAT 2018 Reservation of Seats

• For Uttarakhand bonafide resident candidates: 15% of seats in all programs will be reserved on merit, subject to producing of “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” certificate.

• Reservation for Differently Abled Candidates: 3% of seats are reserved for Differently Abled Candidates with the minimum disability to the extent of 40% subject to producing of a certificate from authorized Medical Doctor/Hospital indicating the extent of physical disability.

However, in event of the seats remaining unfilled in the above-mentioned categories, the same shall be treated as unreserved. 

UPES 2018 Scholarships

UPES 2018 Scholarships will be distributed to two categories, that is, All India Category and Uttarakhand Domicile Special Scholarship. The candidates must meet the Eligibility Criteria to avail the UPES Scholarship which is discussed below:

UPES Scholarship for All India Category 

Eligibility Criteria

80% marks in class 10 and class 12 with 85% in PCM

Scholarship

• 50% Tuition Fee Weaver on 10% seats in each program in the first year for CBSE, ICSE & State Board pass out students
• The scholarship will be renewed in the second Semester provided the students obtain SGPA of 8/10 
• Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per the scholarship policy of the University.

UPES Uttarakhand Domicile Special Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have 80% marks in each of class 10, 12 and PCM for B.Tech
• 150 toppers from UK Board
• Merit Order Allotment of 1 Seat per program. The seats reserved for this category will be within 15% reservation for Uttarakhand Domicile students.
• Candidates should have "Sthai Niwas Praman Patra" (Permanent Residence Certificate)
• Students will be entitled only for 1 scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Merit or through Uttrakhand Domicile Category)

Scholarship

• The boy students will get 25% tuition fee and the girl students will get 35% tuition fee in the first year.
• The scholarship will be renewed in the second semester provided that the student obtain SGPA of 8/10
• Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per scholarship policy of the University.

Scholarship For Engineering Students in India

UPES 2018 Placements

UPES provide placement assistance to all enrolled candidates subject to their fulfilling eligibility conditions as prescribed in UPES Placement Regulations. However, the Placement assistance and not Placement guarantee. More than 80 percent of the Computer Science & Engineering students have received pre-graduation job offers.
