Indian Idol Junior Auditions Season 2

Indian Idol Junior Registration Process

Only the parent or the Guardian of the child can register for Indian Idol Junior Season 2 Auditions. The Indian Idol Junior application form & Release form will reviewed, approved and signed by the parent or the guardian.

There is no entry fee to participate in Indian Idol Junior.

The interested candidate can enter into Indian Idol Junior Auditions through 4 ways:

1. Registration through SMS

SMS Format is IDOL<space>(age)<space>(gender)<space>(audition location Code)

City Codes for Auditions are

• Kolkata- KOL
• Delhi-DEL
• Chandigarh-CHA
• Mumbai-MUM

SMS charges are BSNL- Rs. 6/SMS, Others Rs. 5/SMS

• After the submission of entry through SMS the participant cannot modify the entry.

2. Registration through IVR

• Indian Idol Junior IVR Number: 5052525
• The IVR Number for BSNL Subscribers of Haryana, Rajasthan & Punjab is 1255525
• IVR facility is available for Airtel, BSNL, IDEA, TATA & Vodafone.
• The call charges for upto Rs.6.99/min.
• The Cellular/Landline Number through which the registration is received will be the Unique Identification Number
• Multiple entries from same landline number/mobile number are allowed but after shortlisting of the entry, it will not be shortlisted for the 2nd time.
• After the submission of entry through IVR the participant cannot modify the entry.

3. Registration Online through SonyLIV Website

The candidate can also register for Indian Idol Junior online on SonyLIV website. The candidate has to enter the personal details as indicated in the online form and upload their Audition Video. >> Upload Here

The Specification of the Audition Video

• Video Size: 50 MB
• Video Format: .mov/ .mp4/ .mpeg4
• Music Size: 3 MB
• Music Format: .aac/.mp3
• The Audition Video should have been recorded in the past 2 months.
• The Video should only contain the participant and no other member.
• The song in the Video should be a Hindi Song.
• Only one video can be uploaded.
• There should be no copyright issue attached to the video.

4. Registration through SonyLIV App - For android & iOS

The participant have to first download the app and follow the instructions given above for posting the Audition Video.

• Jump Queue Contest: Top 5 participants who have registered online or through app that is the entries which receives that maximum thumbs up will be able to Jump the Indian Idol City Auditions Round and will directly move to the Theatre Round.

Indian Idol Junior Rounds of Selection

• Pre Casting: The participants who are selected on the basis of eligibility and then through randomised software will be taken into a room and have to sing in front of the casting crew.
• Jury Round: The participants who qualify the pre-casting round will have to sing in fron of the Judges forming a part of jury member. The participants who make it to the next round that is the Theatre Round will be notified by the Organsiers.
• Indian Idol Junior Theatre Round-  The Theatre Round is the round following the regional auditions and around 120 participants will qualify for the Indian Idol Junior Theatre Round. The Theatre round will most probably be conducted in Mumbai in May 2015.
  
  • In this round the participant have to sing a pre-selected song in Hindi chosen by the Organisers.
  • The Participant will have to sing the song individually or in group as decided by the organisers.
  • In case of group performance, the organisers will themselves form the group.
  • The organisers may ask the participant to sing the full/part of the song or any other song in Hindi of Participant's own choice.
• Indian Idol Junior Gala Round: Out of the 120 participants only 12 participants will qualify for the Indian Idol Junior Gala Round that is the final round. These 12 will be called the Indian Idol Junior Finalists.

They will participate in the Show over a period of 12 weeks and will be aired on Sony. All the travel, accommodation of these 12 finalists will be taken care by the Organiser.

• Indian Idol Junior Finale: Only 3 participants out of the 12 will enter into the Indian Idol Junior Finale. The Recording of the Finale will take place between August 2015-September 2015

Documents to be carried on the day of Auditions

The Registrant that is the parent or the guardians have to carry the following documents on the day of auditions. All the documents should be in Hindi or English.

The Registrant have to carry the original documents as well as two attested copies.

Valid Name Proof (any of the below ids)

• PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driver's License

Valid Address Proof (any of the below ids)

• Landline Phone/Electricity Bill, Passport, Voter ID, Driver's License, Ration Card

Photographs

• Passport Size Photo
• 1 full length photo
• 1 frontal photo

Indian Idol Junior Season 2 Prize Money

 The Maximum Prize money is Rs. 50 lacs.
