MOMA Scholarships are offered to students belonging to notified minority communities viz. Muslim/Christian/Sikh/Buddhist/Jain/Parsi (Zoroastrian) studying in India only. The scholarship is given for year one on the basis of the laid down eligibility criteria and it is renewed for the successive years based on the academic performance of the scholarship holder. MOMA Scholarship Renewal for academic session 2016-17 will begin from June 1, 2016.

Under the MOMA scholarship scheme, pre-matric, post-matric and merit-cum-means based scholarships are given to students of Class 1-10, class 11 to Ph.D. courses and after class 12 for degree/ postgraduate level professional/vocational courses in any of the recognized Indian institute/college, respectively.

How to Apply for MOMA scholarship Renewal?
Step 1– For renewal of MOMA scholarship, scholars have to apply with their Permanent ID on the official website. Students get their Permanent id when they apply as a fresh candidate for the grant of scholarship. Enter Your Permanent Id here
Scholars have to click on - ‘Student Registration’ > ‘RenewaI’ > ‘I know Permanent id’ and under this option, they have to submit his/her Permanent id to apply for renewal.
Note: In case the student does not have or have forgotten the permanent id, then they can generate their permanent id on the official website. Click on ‘Know your permanent id’, fill in the details of name, date of birth and roll number of the examination passed and then, permanent id will be generated once again.
Step 2 – Documents to be Submitted with Renewal
After logging in the student has to upload the scanned copy of all the documents as per the instructions given at the time of applying. The list of documents to be uploaded are as under:
- Institution Verification Form. (Mandatory)
- Income Certificate issued by an authorised Officer in the State/UT - (Mandatory)
- Declaration of the Student. (Mandatory)
- Self-Attested Certificate of the last Exam Passed as filled in the Form. (Mandatory)
- Fee Receipt of ‘Current Course Year’. (Mandatory)
- Proof of Bank Account in the Name of the Student. (Mandatory)
- Aadhaar Card (Optional)
- Proof of Address (Optional)
