IGNITE Award Result 2016. National Innovation Foundation (NIF), India has declared the list of the winner who have participated in the IGNITE competition. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE competition is an annual national competition to harness the creative and innovative spirit of children from all over India.
The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee presented the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE Awards to the winning participants of IGNITE competition on November 7, 2016, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
IGNITE Award 2017: Children are invited to participate for the next year and the next entry will be received until August 31, 2017. All entries received after this date will be considered for Dr APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE 2018 competition

In order to promote creativity and originality in the children, the National Innovation Foundation organised the IGNITE competition and invited the creative technological ideas/innovations from the students up to Standard XII for the tenth national competition. NIF dedicates the IGNITE Awards in the loving memory of Dr Kalam.
IGNITE competition was started in the year 2008, and in last 7 years, 142 children have been awarded at the hand of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
