National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a scholarship exam conducted by NCERT and was constituted in 1963 by NCERT. NTSE exam can be taken by the Indian students as well as by Indian students studying abroad. The scholarship is provided to students pursuing courses in sciences and social sciences up to doctoral level. It is a merit-based scholarship and not a means based scholarship.
- The candidates who get selected in NTSE Stage 1 will be called for the NTSE Gujarat Stage 2 exam which will be conducted in June 2021
- The admission card and other details including the centre of the examination will be sent to the selected candidates directly by the NCERT New Delhi to appear in the NTSE Stage 2 exam.

NTSE Gujarat Result 2020-21
The NTSE Result for Gujarat will be declared by the State Examination Board (SEB) Gandhinagar. The exam was conducted at various centres across the country. Lakhs of candidates appeared in the exam. The candidates who get selected in NTSE Stage 1 exam are only qualified to appear in NTSE Stage 2 exam.
The name along with the roll numbers and other important details of the candidates who get qualified for the NTSE Stage 2 exam is given in Gujarat NTSE Merit List. The name of the candidates who have not been selected for NTSE Stage 2 exam is not given in the list.
State Examination Board, Government of Gujarat has earlier released the NTSE Gujarat Answer Key. The candidates can check the answer key and can tally their marks.

- NTSE Result 2017-18: Total of 199 candidates get selected for the NTSE Stage 2 exam. The general category is 145, SC category is 31, ST category is 17, Orthopaedics category is 5 and Visually Impaired is 1.
- NTSE Result 2016-17: Total 179 candidates have successfully cleared NTSE Stage 1 Exam .39,721 candidates participated in NTSE Gujarat Stage 1 examination.
