Assam NTSE Non Qualified Candidates
Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has released the list of the candidates who have qualified the stage 1 of the exam. However, the information about the non-qualified candidates has not been conveyed by the DSE, Assam. Thus, the candidates who were expecting their names in the list can go through the NTSE Assam Answer Key so that they will get to know whether they meet the cut-offs or not.

Assam NTSE Result Previous Years
There is a total of 104 students have been selected to appear in the NTSE Stage 2 exam.
The NTSE Assam Result 2017 has been declared on 15 February 2017 by the Director of Secondary Education, Assam. The exam was conducted at various centres across the country. Lakhs of candidates appeared in the exam. Total of 90 candidates get selected and appeared in the NTSE Stage 2 exam. The candidates can check their result by searching their name and the roll number.

NTSE Assam Result 2015-16
The result declared by SCERT Assam contains Rank, Centre Number, Roll Number, Student’s Name, Address of the School and Caste. There is no separate result available for different categories. On SCERT’s website, no information is available regarding the marks obtained by the successful candidates or category wise cutoff marks.
Total 89 (General- 66, SC- 15 and ST- 08) students had successfully cleared NTSE Stage 1 Exam and had appeared in NTSE Stage 2 Exam which was held on May 10, 2015. Stage 1 was organised by SCERT Assam and Stage 2 was conducted by NCERT.

Assam NTSE Result 2014-15
NTSE Assam Stage 1 2014-15 was held in 23 districts of Assam, and a total 3,155 students from Assam participated in the NTSE exam and out of them only 89 students were able to qualify for NTSE Stage 2 from Assam. So around 2.82% of students, who appeared in NTSE exam from Assam were able to qualify for the NTSE Exam Stage 2.

National Talent Search Examination is a scholarship exam conducted by NCERT. NTSE scholarship was constituted in 1963 by NCERT. NTSE exam can be taken by the Indian students as well as by Indian students studying abroad. It is a merit-based scholarship and not a means based scholarship.
