Eligibility to appear in NATA

Candidates who have passed Class 10 or equivalent examination can appear for NATA.

But only those candidates are eligible for admission in B.Arch. Course. who have passed an Aptitude test in Architecture and have secured 50% marks in Class 12 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects,

No direct lateral admission is allowed at any year/stage of B.Arch. course based on any qualification. NATA score is valid for a period of two years from the year in which the student has appeared.
NATA Test is being conducted in two parts, namely:
- Part A: Paper-based drawing test
- Part B: Computer-based online aesthetic sensitivity test

Admission Process

NATA: NATA is just an Eligibility Test for taking admission into the architecture colleges, so just merely appearing in the test won’t help, candidates have to get in touch with various admission authorities of different architecture colleges with NATA Score Card and other details.
- Admissions are being offered on the basis of marks obtained in NATA and the qualifying examinations in the ratio of 50:50 either by the Government or University or Institutions.
NIT Delhi and School of Planning and Architecture in Delhi offers admission to the B.Arch Course on the basis of JEE Main Paper 2 Rank followed by CSAB Counselling.
Institutions affiliated to GGSIPU: Even in Delhi, the institutions which are affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admission on the basis of NATA Score.
